Morgan was selected from over 300 students as the recipient of a Ballet Class Scholarship.  She will be attending another JUMP Dance Convention this season for free!

PKS Dance Elite Ltd welcomes guest teacher Karen Andrew Monday Oct 7th

Karen Andrew is a graduate of the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts and has been extensively trained in New York and Los Angeles. Karen was an original cast member of the Tony Award-winning Broadway Musical Ragtime, and also worked with the late Gwen Verdon in the Tony Award-winning musical Fosse. While on Broadway, Ms. Andrew performed in concert with Chita Riviera, Julie Andrews, Liza Minnielli, Glenn Close, and Rosie O'Donnell. In Canada, Karen played Anita in the Stratford Festival of Canada's production of West Side Story. Her television and film credits include the Academy Award-winning film Chicago with Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Richard Gere.
We are so excited to give our students the opportunity to work with industry professionals like Ms Andrew!

Congratulations PKS students Megan Chassels & Ciara Gifford Forsythe!

Megan is the recipient of a Jump Convention Studio Scholarship.  She will be attending the Toronto convention Oct 5 & 6th for free.  We are proud of all your hard work Megan!

Ciara was the recipient of a class scholarship which she was awarded at last year's Jump Convention.

She will also be attending the Toronto Convention for free!

CIARA LANDS A PRINCIPLE ROLE!

Congratulations to Ciara!

Ciara will be flying to Winnipeg in the next month to start filming "Leap of Faith" The Gabby Douglas Story in the principle role of "Arielle" Gabby's sister.  

Gabby Douglas won gold medals in both the individual and team all around competitions in the 2012 Summer Olympics.  Gabby was the first woman of colour and the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to become the individual all-around champion, and the first American gymnast to win gold in both individual all -around and team competitions at the same Olympics as well as being the only American All-Around Champion to win multiple gold medals, thus far.

PKS DANCE ELITE WON TOP STUDIO SPIRIT OF THE COMPETITION.  OUR STUDIO WAS PICKED BY EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER AT THE LUV 2 DANCE PETERBOROUGH VENUE.  THEY COMMENTED THAT OUR STUDENTS WERE SO POLITE AND HELPFUL TO OTHERS, THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND ALWAYS SHOWED COURTESY AND SUPPORT TO ALL OTHER STUDIOS.

Ciara is awarded JUMP VIP Runner Up!

We would like to congratulate Ciara who was selected by Mandy Moore (choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance) as a JUMP VIP Runner Up.  Ciara was one of 30 dancers selected (out of approx. 500) and she received a full scholarship to attend The Dance Awards Convention in New York City this summer.  She also received a $250 scholarship to attend Slide Dance Convention in New York City.
